At Eagle & Spear, we are a small, senior-led investment and advisory firm working hands-on with carefully chosen founders, SMEs, skilled-trade businesses and property service organisations across the UK. We bring capital, clarity and lived operational experience, helping good businesses and service teams become stronger, better controlled and more resilient.
Our roots are in engineering, compliance, repairs, maintenance, customer care and frontline service delivery, where reliability, performance and accountability matter every day. Alongside investment and board-level support, we provide specialist Frontline Control Reviews for organisations delivering repairs, voids, reinstatement, damp and mould compliance, fire protection, mobile workforce delivery and supply chain-led services.
We understand what good looks like at board level, but also what it takes to deliver properly on site, in homes, with operatives, supervisors, planners, managers, residents and customers. Former Managing Director at Mears Group (£600 m revenue) and Morgan Sindall Property Services (£350 m revenue).
Gary leads Eagle & Spear with a balance of financial discipline and operational delivery.
He’s also Chair of PCS UK Ltd, Town & Country Repairs Ltd, and Rosebud Preserves.
A Liveryman of the Worshipful Companies of Plumbers and Lightmongers, Gary’s focus is on helping businesses scale with integrity, clarity, and commercial strength.
Haitham El-Hag
Analyst & Operational Support
Originally trained in medicine, Haitham brings exceptional analytical precision and an innate focus on compliance and structure.
Since joining Eagle & Spear eight years ago, he’s supported due-diligence, financial modelling, and operational planning across every investment tier.
His disciplined, detail-driven mindset complements Gary’s strategic leadership, ensuring every partnership is grounded in measurable performance and accountability.
